thank goodness this has come to an end.far too many draws.i think,at times, the mindset has been not to lose instead of pushing on for a win.town should learn from sheffield wednesday who have lost 4 times but are above us in the league.i still expect, with our squad,to be in an automatic promotion at the end of the season.anything less should be regarded as failure as clark has been given unbelievable resources.

the sooner this finishes the better.clark is obsessed with not losing.he could put a gramaphone on.all opposition are world beaters.very difficult opponents, false position in league etc ,etc.he pays them too much respect.why did he take roberts off last week.ward should have come on as well.what message does he put out bringing robinson on to play right wing.totally negative.we should be murdering teams like stevenage not hanging on for dear life.

Blades dulled!

Well what a result on Tuesday evening. Myself I couldn't see us coming away with anything. My wish was for a draw.
Normally I would have gone to the game but with the cost of the tickets being as they were I thought it best to make a stand. The downside to this is the very fact that I and many more were not there to cheer our team on. I am hopeful that something comes of this veto as time and time again the fans take the brunt of footballs hierarchic.
Can we wish for more of the same this coming Saturday against MK Dons. Once again I would take a draw before kick off. The Dons are riding high and playing well and are always a tough team to beat especially at their own ground. So, for me a draw would be a good result.
Here's wishing the team all the best. Keep the faith and rise up the league.

3 games and 3 draws. What do we need to start winning games? On paper Bury, Rochdale and Hartlepool could, and perhaps should have been 9 points. Too many new signings? No new striker? No idea what best team is? Something is not right yet but what? Thoughts please.

Really pleased with how we came back from 2-1 down today to win 3-2. I thought Ward coming on was the definite turning point in the game for Town, the Colchester defence couldn't cope with him. The Novak and Rhodes pairing looked very promising and I hope Clark keeps with these two up front from now on.

what a debacle!with the resources available to clark since his arrival we should be in the championship.yet we cant beat a very poor rochdale team.clark is totally naive.he has to pick a settled team.chopping and changing is doing nothing for the confidence of the players.nobody seems to know what they are doing because the team is constantly changing.clark should pick a team and formation and stick to it.he should realise that football is a simple game .if warnock or buxton were manager we would have been promoted by now and hoyle would have saved a lot of money

A new season dawns

So here we are, after the deafening silence that echoed around the Town half of Old Trafford at around 83 mins into the play off final. A new season, same league, slightly different team. I think every one knows that Automatic promotion is the ONLY acceptable outcome this season. Last season, I always thought automatic promotion would be difficult given the quality of teams around us. This season I feel is different, I believe we are the best team on paper. We are clear favourites. We have to get off to a good start. If we do this then I think we will achieve promotion.

Therefore today's game is a big one. We have to get off to a winner in front of a home crowd. Banish the disappointment of last season.

UTT
