Beckham says he got himself booked deliberately against Wales when he realised he was injured and would miss the next game anyway!!!!!

I wish the Poll Function was working so that I could check other peoples response to this news!

My two possible answers would be

" Wow! That was brainy of him"

" Oh Yeah! Who is kidding Who?"

Yeah,I wouldn't have credited him with that much intelligence, then again, how bright is it to actually admit to it in public?Could he not be in further trouble for that?.

It was a good thing to do to get his ban out of the way if he knew he was going to be injured for tomorrow's match, but coming out in public telling everyone just that is plain stupid!

not bothered whether he did or didn't get booked on purpose, but he could pay for admting it as fifa could extend his ban now.

Why oh why did jermaine jenas play in beckham's stead? Surely hardgreaves or wright-phillips have proved themselves far better than Jenas? Maybe not.

the only thing beckham actually did wrong was admit what he did i have no problems with him doing it,but apparently there is no rule to actually extend his ban so there hands are tied.
