| Yesterday and today Town defenders Antony Kay and Jamie McCombe have both left Huddersfield Town by mutual consent. Kay, who can also play in midfield, has since signed for League One MK Dons on a two-year deal having made 119 appearances for Town since joining in the summer of 2009 on a free from Tranmere Rovers. The former vice captain scored 11 goals in his time with Town and scored the winning penalty that got the Terriers to the 2011 play-off final. McCombe has also left having made 68 appearances for Town scoring nine goals since signing on an undisclosed fee from Bristol City in the summer of 2010.
