An excitement-packed season ahead?
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 06/07/2003
If the latest Terrier-Bytes weekly poll is anything to go by the up-and-coming Huddersfield Town season will be packed full of excitement. Nearly seventy percent of the votes indicated a positive outlook for the season ahead, which relates to last week's poll results where the fans' expectations seemed a little too high.
It's only to be expected though with Peter Jackson signing more and more players as every day goes by. The signing of the ex-Liverpool senior squad member and academy player Jon Newby as well as Rob Edwards and Ian Gray simply shows the terriers' determination and ambition to get out of the Third Division as soon as possible. With a bit of luck we might make it back to the Second Division by the end of this season.
However, although the majority of Town fans are looking forward to the upcoming season, there are still a few who aren't too optimistic about the road ahead. Just over twelve percent of the votes indicated a negative outlook for next season. Still, it's only a minority, surely they can't be right?
