Swindon v Town

Although we beat the Robins the last time we played them at the County Ground, 1-0 in 2002-3, our overall record there is not great. P 14 W 4 D 2 L 8Swindon v Town

At the moment they are 2 points ahead of us in the league and have won three and drawn one of their last four home games. Our away record is won one, drawn two and lost one. Last season our away form was abysmal before Christmas but we seem to have turned it around this year. The simple facts suggest a close game.

We are without Trigger but presumably that is of no consequence now that Paul Rachubka has signed up until 2007. A big loss is the non-availability of Andy Booth and Akpo Sodje. Our strikers seem to have lost their touch all at the same time. Having two of them missing doesn?t help. In defence Efe Sodje has served his suspension and can be considered.

Swindon may well be down in the dumps having conceded a late equaliser in their FA Cup tie on Saturday. Following his car crash last week, striker Christian Roberts missed the cup tie but will probably be back against us. Presumably Steve Jenkins will be in their team; as far as I can find out his permanent move from Peterborough has gone through.
