It is very rare that a Terriers match is reported in the national press but this report appeared today in The Times

Bournemouth 2 Huddersfield Town 2
TWICE Bournemouth led Huddersfield Town through goals by John Spicer and twice, as a result of lax marking, they conceded equalisers. In terms of possession and chances created, in the second half in particular, it was a just result, as Sean O?Driscoll, the Bournemouth manager, admitted. ?Huddersfield are one of the best teams to have come here this season,? he said.
In the match programme, O?Driscoll wrote that ?it never ceases to amaze me how hard English teams work trying to win the ball and how little they work on actually retaining possession?, but that was not the case here.
His players, notably Wade Elliott, Spicer and Alan Connell, commendably attempted to keep the ball. Their measured passing on the right wing and in central midfield resulted in Bournemouth taking the lead after 17 minutes. Warren Cummings looked to be tricked by Efe Sodje, the ball running to Spicer, who drove it back past Paul Rachubka.
Huddersfield equalised after 38 minutes. John McAliskey controlled the ball on his chest and drove low into the right-hand corner. It was no less than they deserved ? Andy Holdsworth had earlier hit the side-netting and a left-foot drive from Tony Carss was tipped aside by Neil Moss.
Bournemouth were ahead again six minutes after half-time. Spicer initially mistimed his volley from Brian Stock?s corner, but scored with his second attempt. Huddersfield earned a point when David Mirfin scored with a header from a Carss corner after 60 minutes.
?Considering we had a game two days ago, that was a terrific performance,? Peter Jackson, the Huddersfield manager, said. ?Bournemouth had not played for nine days.?
BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-2): N Moss ? N Young, K Broadhurst, S Maher, W Cummings (sub: S Purches, 90min) ? W Elliott, J Spicer, B Stock, G O?Connor (sub: M Browning, 84) ? S Fletcher, A Connell (sub: D Rodrigues, 73). Substitutes not used: G Stewart, D Holmes. Booked: Connell, Young.
