Town Close To Signing Gateshead Striker

Town Close To Signing Gateshead Striker It is reported that Huddersfield Town have agreed a fee with Blue Square North side Gateshead over their striker 20-year old Lee Novak.

It is understood that Novak will discuss terms with Town on Monday but the deal with see the young striker stay at Gateshead on loan for the rest of the season.

Novak is the current top scorer in Blue Square North with 16 goals.
The 20-year old has attracted a number of clubs and has reportedly turned down Scunthorpe United in favour for signing for the Terriers. In the summer he had a trial with Stockport County.

The official Gateshead website decribes Novak as:
"A powerful young striker who has scored goals for fun over the last season".

Novak joined Newcastle Blue Star from Scottish side Gretna, He was top scorer at Blue Star in which Gateshead snapped up the young Novak.
