AFC Bournemouth - Thanks to Fear27 of the Bournemouth Vital Football Forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

We performed beyond everyone's expectations considering so many off the field problems and a crippling transfer embargo. Best moments - the second goal against Burton when it really sunk in that we were actually going to be promoted. another was the home game against Burton early in the season when we only had three subs. we under the cosh for long periods when right at the end Brett Pitman scored the best goal i have ever witnessed live. a moment to saviour and one that proved how strong our team spirit was

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

After the last few years, it's all about stability and enjoying playing some of the so called big guns of the division. although this division will suit our style of play and i expect us to upset a few teams along the way. my view is that if we get to Christmas nearer the play off places rather than the bottom four, i will be a happy man - then who knows!

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

it's been kind of odd this summer as we have been allowed to sign players when our embargo was relaxed. so it's been nice to see some new faces. having said, last year's team spirit was unbelievable. but now we have players like Marc Pugh (from Hereford) who looks a real threat and the 'one to watch' Harry Arter - signed from Woking he looks a real talent and one the fans are looking forward to seeing in league action after an impressive pre-season. we have a good mix of youth and experience now and if we can maintain the same team spirit as last year and integrate the likes of Pugh and Arter, us fans will be happy

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

the BBC i-player so I don't have to watch that awful Football League show on the BBC! but player wise - nobody. they all deserve to be a member of the Bournemouth squad

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Harry Arter - impressive in pre-season. plays just off a main striker and always wants the ball. signed from Woking and looks a real prospect - i expect to surprise a few people this year. A mate of mine is a Woking fan and says he is made for League football - we wait for an answer to that but boy he's looked good in pre-season. otherwise winger Josh McQuoid - has risen from the youth team and it's a season definer for him

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

best young manager around and after last season's exploits, the footballing world has started to take notice about how good he has been. he will be here at the end of the season because he is Bournemouth through and through and wants to give this league a right go. but i think the fans understand that in a couple of years he may well move onwards and upwards - but not for now

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Eddie Mitchell has now got the club back on a level playing field (almost), stabilised the club, reduce our debts immensely and got it run how a business should be run. what more could we ask for? he is local and cares so that's good for us fans

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Southampton - nearest team to us and no matter how they view us, personally I have find them a bit arrogant. at the end of the day, we are in the same league and they may have once been in the Premier League - but they need to get over that. i think they view us as small fry and a second team (like a little brother) - not this year I am afraid - i think we will surprise them! ha!

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

despite my answer in question 8, Southampton should win this league with the squad they have got. no excuses really.

Runner up - Huddersfield - a good squad and enough to go one better than last year and i am not just saying that because it's a questionnaire from a Huddersfield fan. good young manager, good squad with players capable of getting lots of goals - all will help them get second

Play-Offs: Peterborough - think they will run Huddersfield close for second. they still have Mclean, Mackail Smith and Boyd - some strike force at this level!
Sheffield Wednesday - another team with strikers to fear - Tudgay, Morrison, Mellor so should do well
Brentford - an odd one but they have a good young manager and collectively have a side who should improve on last season's 9th/10th place finish
Plymouth - good manager who I am sure will be targetting an instant return to the Championship

Brentford - Thanks to ToBEE of griffin park.org/forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

I think our final position in the League table showed that we were the "best of the rest". The strength of the teams at the top of the league last season simply couldn't be matched, so I think we really did the best we could possibly do.

The highlight for me was holding Leeds to two draws, we played magnificently in both games, and at both games the atmosphere was superb!

Lowlights were the losses away at Charlton & Norwich - we'd played so well to hold them, and deserved that little bit of luck I thought.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

We have a solid defensive base to work from, and the strikers are of an excellent calibre for this division. However, I'm concerned about the likelihood of injuries to the front line, combined with the lack of creativity in midfield, leading to a lack of goals.

I think we'll be around 6th/7th come May.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

I've been impressed by all of the new signings so far. Lee adds experience, no height though to the No. 1 position, but Szczesny was irreplaceable. McCracken seems solid at the heart of defence, ditto Woodman at Left back. Spillane looks a great prospect on the right-hand side, and Diagouraga has proven quality. I've not really formed an opinion yet about Kirk Hudson, but he's pacey, and that's a good start. Forster up front is a proven goalscorer and has looked lively in pre-season. Unusually, all seems to be rosy in the Bees garden!

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

There's only one player I'd get rid of, in fact I'd pay to see the back of him - Sam Saunders. Doesn't track back, can't tackle, can't run, corners and free-kicks always hit the first man, and I'm not sure he really shows enough in his demeanour that suggests he's even trying (unlike the other former D&R players we had last season). In my opinion the only week link in this squad - we must be able to do better.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

I think Simon Moore in goal, and Ryan Blake at left back will both get chances this season, and from what I've seen in pre-season, I'm convinced they'll be able to step up - watch this space.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

I've taken some time to warm to Andy Scott, but he's going about things professionally, and in the right way. I very often questioned some of his team selections last season, specifically about the lack of Carl Cort, but it turns out we had to use him sparingly for fitness reasons. Andy is clearly ambitious, and would be a great long-term manager for a bigger club, but big clubs want immediate results. We at Brentford are patient, and I think Andy probably appreciates that he has a great learning environment and the opportunity for a great long-term career. I fully expect Andy Scott to be at Brentford this time next year.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

They seem to be doing a great job. The club appears from the outside to be on a sound...ish footing after a few years of worry, and we're not going over the top in the way we invest in the playing staff. I've been impressed by the new Executive Committee, and I'm sure with a little investment we have a bright future.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

I'd obviously like to see us win every game, and this season you're really spoilt for choice on teams to beat - Southampton for poaching Ryan Dickson, Notts County to knock them down a peg or two, the always tasty Bournemouth encounters. But for me, I want to beat Charlton - at the Valley. I really don't like that club, and as I have a friend there with a season ticket, putting one over on him would be most welcome!

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Brighton and Hove Albion - Thanks to Deletebeepbeepbeep at Northstandchat.com

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Crap start, great finish, worst moment was getting beaten by Stockport 2-4 at home after being beaten 7-1 at Huddersfield. Best moment was the signing of Gus followed by the win at Southampton.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

I strongly believe we'll be in a playoff position, we do not have a strong enough individuals for the automatic places but I believe Gus will deliver a team mentality. I hope Gus is allowed to develop his own team, and his ideas throughout the club, including the Development Squad and the Youth Team. I hope we get to see some of our promising young pros getting first squad action in the lesser fixtures.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

I think we have a very strong XI which looks a bit ropey after a few injury's or suspensions. Greer, Sparrow and Kishishev all look the business, and along with Glen Murray give us a very good spine. I'm excited about the prospect of seeing new signing Barnes striking up a great partnership with Murray.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

I wouldn't get rid of any of our current squad, there are some that shouldn't play regularly but they still offer backup or something a bit different when we need it, i.e. Gary Hart. We have quite a small squad in any case.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

I hope that Lewis Dunk will have some part to play but with Elphick, Green and El Abd in front of him it might be limited. Hopefully Jake Caskey will play regularly for the Reserves and knock on the door of the first team but realistically we are flushed with decent central midfielders and although he looks a great prospect, he is only 16.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

I like Gus a lot, he has some great ideas, and whilst he's ambitious he's also a realist and recognises the limitations we have whilst at Withdean and in comparison to the richer clubs within this League. He puts our Club on the map by showing up on every football programme there is and talks a lot of sense.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

We have been incredibly lucky with our Chairman and I don't think you'll find a single sane Brighton and Hove Albion fan who would say otherwise. If it wasn't for him we'd wouldn't have Gus, and we would be playing at Withdean for the foreseeable future. If Gus is happy with the backroom staff then so am I, we might be a bit light in comparison to some of the more cash-rich clubs in this Division but Gus will sort it out over time.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

We don't have any real rivals in this league but Southampton because they are clearly the team to beat this season. Otherwise, Crystal Palace in the FA Cup ;)

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down:

1. Southampton
2. Huddersfield

3. Sheffield Wednesday
4. Swindon
5. Brighton
6. Plymouth

21. Exeter

24. Tranmere

Bristol Rovers - Thanks to Spot_kick_Eddie of the brfcforum.co.uk

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Andy William's last minute winner down at St Mary's will go down in legend and song and will be talked about by those who were there to witness it for some time to come. The worse part was pretty much everything else that happened after that goal. Never replacing Lambert was a massive mistake and it cost us

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

The new super-duper all singing and dancing formation of 4-2-3-1 will have to come good if we are to do anything this year. We've bought in what appear to be some decent players but until we've had a chance to see them play together it's hard to tell

I predict 10th

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Squad looks better than it has in recent years and I'm please to finally rid ourselves of some deadwood that we were always shipping out on loan just to get shot of until their contracts were up. Gary Sawyer and Wayne Brown excite me the most, we just need to bring in a big UNIT to chuck up top now

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

Darryl Duffy. He'll still do a job for anyone in this division but for one reason or another he just can't get going for us. Whether that's because he can't settle into our style of play or because he's a lazy f**k, I'm not sure. He can go all the same

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Wayne Brown is still young enough to be put in this category I think, he comes from Fulham with high expectations and if he can perform consistently all season he could cause a lot of problems for opposing teams. On the even younger side, a chap by the name of Lamar Powell is poking his head out of the youth team at the moment so it will be interesting to see if the kid gets a run out or two

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Trollope has been heavily criticised for his negative tactics over the years but the new formation he's adopted over the summer may just provide some better quality football, and as a paying customer that is all I'm asking for

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Tender subject this. Can't fault them for backing the manager in bringing in the players he has but off the field they p*ss too many fans off with their sheer contempt towards their support base and I would personally like to see them all go

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

There's no real rival of ours in this division but it's always nice to put a few past Swindon. Other than that, Wednesday and Southampton will be big scalps if we can pull off a win over these two

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four to go down

Carlisle United - Thanks to Similar_Draft of Carlisle Mad Forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

A poor start with a very comfortable/boring mid-table finish which is extremely odd being a Carlisle fan. Best Moment was beating Leeds in the JPT Northern Final on penalties and nearly getting a result at Everton in the FA Cup 3rd round. Worst moment was getting humped in the JPT final at Wembley. Humiliating.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

We seem to have a better squad than this time last year so that would suggest a top half finish. I don't think we have enough quality to make the play offs but you never know! You'd imagine that the league is too poor for us to be relegated (touch wood!).

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Gregg Abbott seems to be able to spot a decent full back and Sean McDaid and Frank Simek look an improvement. Yet to be impressed by your old boy James Berrett but pre-season doesn't really mean a lot. Chris Curran upfront looks quick and works hard which is what the fans will like and Francois Zoko has made a fantastic first impression. The squad on the whole is okay, lack of quality defensive back up could prove costly.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

Richard Offiong, a 75k Ade Panic-buy-I on a long contract. 5th choice striker who no-one even wants on loan.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Two strikers in Andy Cook and Ryan Bowman have both scored goals in pre-season but probably won't get a chance to shine. The biggest impression by a youngster will be Gary Madine. He has a court case in September where he could get sent down!

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Possibly not. It seems Graham Kavanagh is being groomed as a long term replacement so 5 or 6 bad results could see Abbott given the push. He has grown on a lot of fans but his sarcastic press handling puts a lot of people off. Negative tactics away from home aren't popular either.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Reasonably.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Sheff Wed away would be nice, but ideally Huddersfield at home in the League Cup is a start! I enjoyed our cup runs last year.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champions – Charlton
Runner up – Southampton

Play offs – Sheff Wed, Notts County, Huddersfield, Exeter
Relegated – Dagenham, Colchester, Yeovil, Bournemouth

Charlton Athletic - Thanks to youhavetoscoretowin of the Charlton vital foum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Fourth. Best- I can't recall one. Worst- Losing in the Play Off penalty shoot out

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

Play -off spot

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

No idea. I only know a few of them, so can't say.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

He was included in the three quarters of our squad who have left.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Scott Wagstaff

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

A good "no money to spend" Manager. Tactically suspect and indecisive about what is his best team. Yes

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Yes

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Southampton. Because Pardew, who let us down badly, is their Manager.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

1.Southampton 2. Sheffield Wednesday 3. Charlton 4. Huddersfield 5. Swindon 6.

Colchester United - Thanks to ColUDude of the unofficial.cufc.netboards.org

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

I feel we did better than expected. It was ultimately disappointing in the end to fall away from the play offs at the end of the season having been in them all season, but at the start of last season I don't think many had us as contenders as such. We played some horrible hoofball type football which worked well in the first half but as teams got used to our "style" we never adapted it and struggled ultimately. Best Moment was the opening day stuffing Norwich 7-1 and worst moment was either the FA Cup defeat to Preston or the 5-0 humiliation at home to Norwich.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

We have not signed any forwards and I think the key of getting out of this league is a good goal getter. I still think we are strong in midfield and defence, but I feel without that out and out goal scorer at the club mid table obscurity beckons. Realistically, I would be happy with 10th place at the moment, but I think we will be the underdog which suits us fine. Could sneak the playoffs if a good striker comes in.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

We have a very good keeper in Ben Williams who won most of the Player of the season awards last season. One of the best keepers I have seen at the U's. Defensively we are pretty strong, and midfield we look not too bad either but it depends on the system we play this season which is not yet known as it has frequently changed in pre season. Up front looks worrying however with only two recognised strikers at the club at present. ]

New signings are Andrew Bond (Free) from Barrow, he has been described as the non league Lampard, a box to box midfielder and not afraid to shoot. Looks a little lightweight but I think he could be a good signing for the club.

Brian Wilson (Free) from Bristol City has come in has been described as a versatile full back, looks quite good going forward and another who is not afraid to shoot. A little bit suspect defensively, I feel he could add something to the right side of our defence.

Lloyd James (Free) has come in from Southampton, he is a holding midfielder with an eye for a pass. I hope this signing means we will be keeping the ball on the deck, we have never really replaced Dean Hammond our previous captain who went to Southampton last year, I feel James could step up to the plate, he was released after playing 30 odd games last season which is strange, but a former Welsh U21 international so must have a bit about him.

Ben Coker (Free) Another non league signing, scored for fun for Bury Town last season on the wing, he has been brought in as a left midfield/left back and looks quite accomplished. Looked handy in pre season and has a really good cross on him which is something our wingers lack.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

I would have said Clive Platt, but he has gone already. As previously put, someone like Maybury who managed to play for Ireland some how would be my pick.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Anthony Wordsworth scored 11 last season and mostly played in a wide left role. He is not very pacey, but a tall and quite skillful midfielder and has a really bright future, not afraid to shoot and has a good passing range.

Medy Elito was looking promising have represented England at youth level, I hope he can burst on the scene this season, he went on loan to Cheltenham tail end of last season and scored a few goals. He is a skillful winger and attitude depending could be one to look out for.

Another could potentially be Freddie Ladapo. A striker with an eye for goal. A second year scholar at the club, he scored the winning goals in the Essex Senior Cup Final last night and has been impressive in the youth team and reserves. We are longing to give youth a chance in this country and although he is 16/17, a few appearences off the bench would not go amiss.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

John Ward is a wily old fox. Been in the game for a long time. Quite a well respected manager, he was assistant to Boothroyd last season and has worked previously at Cheltenham and Carlisle in League 1. Has played a different stlye in Pre Season and that has pleased the fans. Seen as a cheap appointment, I think stability is the most important thing and unless we have a remarkable losing streak I think Ward will be here for a couple of seasons. We have gone through too many managers in recent seasons.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Definately, Robbie Cowling seems to have the clubs best interests to heart. He has pumped in a lot of money into the club and will be here for a few years. Moved us into the new stadium and I see only good things under his stewardship, he has given us some Championship class facilities and this is where he strives to be.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Difficult this season actually with Norwich going up and Southend and Wycombe going down. Dagenham will be seen as the local rivalry, but there is no bad blood between the sides at all.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down:

1st Southampton
2nd Peterborough

Playoffs: Sheff Wed, Huddersfield, Brighton and Notts County

Dagenham and Redbridge - Thanks to BB-Dagger of the BBC 606 forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

We won the playoff final, best moment for me has to be when Graeme Montgomery scored an injury time winner against Burton, worst moment was getting a deserved hammering at home by Aldershot.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

Just hope we can stay up so anywhere above the bottom 4

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Made a few signings to strengthen the squad, only time will tell if they are good ones

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

None really, although Billy Bingham has turned down a new contract so if he wants to go good luck to him.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Danny Green should be the man to watch again this year, went missing around the turn of the year last season but finished in a blaze of glory. Romain Vincelot is also a very good player, hope we can hold on to him.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

John Still IS Dagenham, he will be there for as long as he wants to be regardless of results.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Yes, club is on a solid footing and all appears to be OK

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Any ex premier league side, just because they are ex premier league

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Too early to make a call on this, I will wait until after 10 or so games, it's a tough division and I wouldn't rule out one of the "big clubs" struggling after a few results go against them.

Exeter City - Thanks to Mole221 of the exeweb.com forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.
Last season we achieved the target of staying up, which is a success. The best moment was between the win against Leeds, or the 2nd goal against Huddersfield, another high point was away to Southampton in front of 31,000 people. The result wasn't brilliant (3-1 loss and a sending off) but it does make you realise how far we've come in the last few years. The worst moment for me was probably the 1-0 home loss to bottom of the league Stockport, which pushed us down in the relegation zone, that was the first time I started getting a bit pessimistic about our prospects.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?
Mid-table would be the target, and I think this is very much achievable, for this we would have to improve our 'patchy' away form (2 wins), our home form is good, particularly against the top half teams, but turning some of the home and away draws into wins would be absolutely ideal.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?
We have a good squad, last season we had a strong defence, at home we conceded 3th least in the league, after Leeds, Milwall and Gillingham. The new signings should help us improve our 'Goals Scored' column with 3 of them being strikers, and one playing as a winger. I think our player to watch this season will be David Noble, who we signed injured halfway through last season, so far in the pre-seasons he has been impressive, and his intelligent passing play has set up a number of goals.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?
I don't think we've got any players who don't deserve to be in the squad, as everybody has a role to play when needed, and play to their strengths well, if I had to choose one though I'd probably get Marcus Stewart to call it a day and just concentrate on coaching the team.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?
Our squad does have a lot of bright prospects pushing through, the midfield looked particularly strong last season with Sercombe and Dunne who are currently 21, another player to keep an eye on is Troy Archibald-Henville (also 21) who I think will improve a lot this season and could help continue our tradition of a good rear line. I think the real breakthrough act of the season will be Chris Shepard, from what I've seen of him he looks like he could challenge for a starting spot, although he is small (not, as our website states, 6 foot 3) he can make a real nuisance of himself down the wing and put a good ball into the box.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?
I would say that Tisdale is one of the best managers around, he acheived back to back promotions, without spending a penny on transfer fees and made the first transfer payment in his reign in last January, when he spent a reported 50k on Mr. Archibald Henville, while making around £1 million in transfer fees while he has been at the club.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Most people, myself included, are happy with the way the club is run. Our board and backroom staff are good at what they do, and will be working to ensure the success and prosperity of the club long in to the future.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?
Ideally I'd like to beat everyone, but especially those lot down the road, and a repeat of the famous 3-0 win at Home Park would be perfect

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down.

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Last season we were below average and one of the best things last season would have to be staying up on last day of season / that late equaliser against Leeds.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

I do not hold much hope for this season seeing as we have made 2 signings and still have the same awful manager in charge for the season. I hate to say this but i predict a 22nd place finish with Tubby in charge!

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Squad is weak, released about 7 last season and signed 2 players. one of which is a back up goalkeeper and the other a left back. We need a forward like O'Donovan who will get 15 to 20 goals a season but i cant see any of our current forwards getting that figure.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

I would happily get rid of Denis Behan as I don't think he is up to it! I hope he makes me eat my words and proves me wrong!

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Youngster to make impression would be James Brown as he is still young and is class if he can steer clear of injuries!

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Manager is rubbish. Hasnt done anything in management for last 4 years and i cant see him doing much this season either. We need a fresh approach i bloody hope the current manager is out before the end of the season.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

I am pleased with IOR as they keep the company afloat without any financial problems so we have to be happy for that. Not so sure about Ken Hodcroft as chairman as seems to be a strange bloke to me! makes some weird decisions and we would like to as fans be kept informed of the clubs current affairs a lot better.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

I want to beat Sheffield Wednesday the most purely because they are the biggest club in the division and i want to go to Hillsborough and come away with 3 points! cant see it though!

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

League 1 winner: Southampton
Runner Up: Sheff Wed

Play off places: Peterborough, Huddersfield, Charlton, Brighton

Relegation places: Tranmere, Yeovil, Hartlepool & Bournemouth

I hope i am wrong about a lot us the negative comments about Pools but I cant see us being good with Turner in charge and the current squad of players!

Leyton Orient - Thanks to Pangloss of the Orientitis.com forum

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.
Best: Norwich win because it signalled survival or Charlton win on the telly because it showed us in a good light.
Worst: Hartlepool 3-1 defeat, utterly abject.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?
I'm quite optimistic about this season, certainly better than 17th from last season, but not troubling the top 10 by any means.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?
I like them on the whole, Elliot Omozuzi, Stephen Dawson, Matt Spring and Alex Revell look good, I'm not sure about the lack of wide men though at the club.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?
Adrian "Patu-useless" Patulea.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?
George Porter, 17 year old signed from Ryman League, raw talent are two words that spring to mind.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?
I am a big Slade fan, shows more passion than our previous 2 managers combined, seems tactially astute. If he can take Yeovil to Wembley, he can do it with us. Yes he will still be here.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Hearn has a great public image as the loyal, loving chairman. Yes, he will not let us die as a club or go into admin, but he does not give a monkeys about the club and has let it stagnate and fester, while just staying above water. The sooner he sells, the better. But nobody wants to buy!

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?
Brighton at home, because they hate Scotty McGliesh and he always scores. Charlton at home, again on Sky, would be nice.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champions: Southampton
Runner up: Your good selves Huddersfield

Play offs: Wednesday, MK Dons, Charlton, Peterborough
Relegated: Hartlepool, Rochdale, Oldham, Carlisle

MK Dons - Thanks to Runyak Huntz of the Mkdonsforum.org

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Best moment....erm....Beating Exeter at their place. What a bunch of clueless idiots their fans and press are.
Worst moment - Realising we weren't going to make the Play Offs

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

I'm hoping for a Play Off spot, but more than anything, hope that we can play some decent football this season.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Not that different. Balanta looks really good, but he's only a loan. Guy looks like he could make a difference too. Oh, and Didi hamann. Yeh, you heard me, Didi Hamann,

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

None. Ok, Willy Gueret. I think he's had his day.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Sam Baldock. He's been on fire in Preseason.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

He's a Scouser with a penchant for nice jumpers. He's making all the right noises at the moment and I am optimistic having heard what he's got planned. I believe he will be here at the end of the season, unless Liverpool sack Roy Hodgson and nick him from us.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Despite the mullet, the Chairman is, and always has been all about the club, the fans, Milton Keynes and everything that goes with it. My only concern is Alex Rae. He has anger management issues and once made Stephen Gleeson cry.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?
Southampton. Just because they beat us four times last season. And their fans are a bit too smug for my liking. I wouldn't mind, but they don't even belong in this league. How can you be proud to do anything in this league when you support a team of that size?

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champions: Southampton
Runners Up: Sheff Weds

Play Offs: Huddersfield, Peterborough, MK Dons, Charlton
Relegated: Yeovil, Dagenham & Redbridge, Exeter, Oldham

Notts County - Thanks to Youpies.co.uk

1 How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Last season was one of the most memorable in my lifetime watching Notts. We
had the world watching us every day the national media was reporting
something to do with Notts.
Best moment was when we beat Rochdale at the Lane
Worst moment had got to be half way through the season with Munto gone and
Notts owing money it brought back memories of administration a few season
before but luckily enough we got through without going into administration

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

This season is looking very good with keeping the backbone of last season's
championship squad and the players that have come in pre-season are looking
good signings I think we could make the play-offs.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

The squad is looking very good from the keepers up to the strikers we are
looking strong and have competition in all positions.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

To be honest I would get rid of NONE

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this
season?

Notts don't have a reserve team and the youth team's not been running long
enough to be looking for this seasons star. Last season a couple of players
made the first team and I would imagine the same will happen this year. I
cannot name anyone player

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the
season?

This is our manager's first job in English football as a manager so I hope
he will be ok. The players signed are looking good and we have done well
pre-season so I hope he will be at Notts celebrating some type of promotion
at the end of the season

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Our chairman, Mr Ray Trew is a star. He listens to the fans and kept us from
going into administration last season. Mr Ray Trew is up front and lets the
fans know what is going on at The lane which from a football chairman is
unknown.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Me I would like to beat Rochdale after last season's comments by their
manager about Notts last season and also they were 14 points in front of us
at the time and we still beat them to be top of the league at the end of the
season.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the
four to go down

Champions - Southampton
Runners up – Charlton

Play-offs
Notts County
Huddersfield
Peterborough
Plymouth

Relegation
Rochdale
Dag & Red
Exeter
Leyton Orient
