Stoke City v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 08/09/2001
This game will be a real test of skill and patience for the Town team to face Stoke City on saturday.
The team to face Stoke will be nearly identical to the line-up against Wycombe last Sunday. Jenkins will replace Moses in defence, Baldry will probably carry on in his role on the right with the superb Thorrington on the left.
Town will be out to attack Stoke and go for the win instead of the usual defensive style play. Lets hope Thorrington runs rings around their players!
If Town can pick up the three points on saturday it will prove that Town are capable of winning the division.
Stoke have signed a number of quality players recently to boost their squad and to boost their chance of promotion.
This season, in the league, Stoke have lost one and won one at home and have the same record away from home. This has left them in midtable at the moment. Last season they finished 5th in Division 2 but disappointingly they lost to Walsall in the playoffs
Garfield's Prediction
I'll go for 1-1 with Thorrington being the MoM.
Probable lineups:
Town: unknown at present
