Wallace in, McDermott Out

Huddersfield Town have today signed highly-rated Falkirk defender Murray Wallace with winger Donal McDermott leaving having been sold to League One rivals Bournemouth.

Town have been rumoured to have paid £300,000 up front that could rise up to £700,000 for the 19-year old defender with the term of the deal is that Wallace will stay at Falkirk for the rest of the season. Falkirk had accepted an offer from Championship side Ipswich Town and the defender had held talks with the Tractor Boys.

Bournemouth have signed Town winger Donal McDermott on a three-and-a-half year deal today. The former Manchester City product had only signed for Town six months ago after impressing in a loan spell at the South Coast club but it appears the winger was surplus to requirements. A fee has not been released but Town have said they have made a profit on the 22-year old who made 11 appearances and scored once.
