Higginbotham To Join Terriers

Falkirk striker Kallum Higginbotham is set to join Huddersfield Town on a two-and-a-half year deal subject to international clearance.

The 22-year old joins fellow teammate Murray Wallace to the Galpharm Stadium who signed today from the Scottish side and is the third player The Terriers have signed from Falkirk (Scott Arfield being the first).

Salford-born Higginbotham started his career at his non-league Salford City before joining Oldham Athletic aged 18. He left Boundary Park in 2007 signing for local neighbours Rochdale where he made 37 appearances (42 as a sub) scoring 7 goals between 2007-2010 and in that time had two loan spells with Accrington Stanley.
He left for Falkirk on a free in the summer of 2010 and scored 8 goals in 49 games (12 as a sub).

Higginbotham can play just off the striker and on either flank if need. He's been described as a player with pace, skillful and is good with both feet.
