Topic: How to win?

3 games and 3 draws. What do we need to start winning games? On paper Bury, Rochdale and Hartlepool could, and perhaps should have been 9 points. Too many new signings? No new striker? No idea what best team is? Something is not right yet but what? Thoughts please.

Re: How to win?

Bury, Rochdale and Hartlepool could easily have ended up as all wins. I don't think we need to change much - I think it will all fall in to place in the next few games once all the players get used to each other. We've got a lot of new players compared to most other League One clubs.

Re: How to win?

Before we kicked a ball my thoughts were that Bury would be a tough game. We must remember that with them gaining promotion they had a settled squad of players we had on the other hand some 6 or 7 changes.
Once the new players have settled in then I am certain that the club will be on the up. My only concern is with LC and his constant tinkering with the starting line up. I am one for selecting the same players week in week out apart from certain cup comps. This way I feel the players set up associations with each other.

you hit the nail on the head.he has no idea what his best team and formation is.consequently he chops and changes.no doubt we will see changes tomorrow as he has two centre midfielders back to fitness.until he gets a settled side ,i fear the worst

LC on HTAFC web "I dont understand what it is with these young players - they dont know how good they are. I had to tell them to show more belief" Any ideas why they might not have enough self belief?
