Preview - Burnley v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Sean Makin on 31/10/2015
A war of the roses clash at Turf Moor this afternoon as Burnley take on Huddersfield Town.
A win for Burnley could see them jump into the automatic promotion places and are in fine form, winning three of their last four league matches which includes the 1-0 win over arch rivals Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
Huddersfield Town are still struggling for consistency, after four points from two matches after the international break, they were soundly beaten by Derby County at the John Smith's Stadium last Saturday.
Town currently sit in 16th place in the Championship, just four points above the relegation places.
In recent years, the Terriers have won three of the four times they have played Burnley, but their last trip to Turf Moor ended in defeat as a brace from former striker Danny Ings gave the Lancashire side a 3-2 win on New Year's Day 2014.
Team News
Burnley have no fresh injury worries and Sean Dyche is likely to name an unchanged side.
Midfielder Dean Marney is close to making a return but strikers Ashley Barnes, Lukas Jutkiewicz and Jason Gilchrist are still out injured.
Town will be without Sean Scannell, who has a hamstring injury, which means Mustapha Carayol is likely to start.
Jonathan Hogg remains out with a thigh injury which striker James Vaughan serves his final match of a three-match ban.
