The future's bright, the future's Blue and White!

Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 18/06/2003
After three meetings earlier today the future of Huddersfield Town is now starting to look a lot brighter. The Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) was approved by the club's creditors and shareholders, which means Begbies Traynor, the administrators, can now proceed in bringing the terriers out of administration. The future's bright, the future's Blue and White!

In the meetings over 75% of Huddersfield Town's creditors voted for the CVA with only the Inland Revenue voting against it. The shareholders vote for CVA approval went very well, too. The meetings, you could say, were the start of a new beginning for the terriers.

New players and staff may be brought in shortly following today's successful series of meetings. Mr Byrne publicly announced earlier this week that a manager may be appointed by as early as Thursday, which is tomorrow. However, according to rumours, no new manager will be appointed tomorrow, which is probably correct as Town probably won't be out of administration for a few days yet. We'll just have to wait and see.

Let's all celebrate - the mighty Huddersfield Town march on!
