Huddersfield Town 2 v 1 Cambridge United
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 01/12/2001
Huddersfield Town managed to keep their unbeaten run intact through strikes by Chris Hay and Andy Booth. The terriers stay 7th in the league but have tightened the gap slightly between them and the top pack. The first half was very disappointing from a Town fans point of view. Cambridge United scored their goal in the 32nd minute through a Tudor tap-in and left the Town fans and players stunned.
The second half was a lot better with Chris Hay scoring in the 76th minute and Andy Booth getting his goal in the last minutes of the game. Town took the full three points and, to tell you the truth, we were all expecting them really!
