Blackpool 3 v 1 Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 29/01/2002
Town have given themselves a hard job in the second leg with a poor display at a muddy and waterlogged Bloomfield Road. Town only looked like a good side when they were attacking, the defence was terrible and looked rusty all through the game. Blackpool man Martin Bullock had yet another great game against the terriers and looked like one of their best players of the night. Town now have to work really hard in the return leg otherwise they will most definitely be out of the LDV Vans Trophy.
The Town line-up was basically the same as it was against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, the only change was replacing Chris Hay with Thomas Heary.
