Fowler wins Orient Man of the Match

Welsh U21 defensive midfielder, Lee Fowler, has won the Terrier-Bytes Man of the Match for Saturday's clash with Leyton Orient. He immediately goes to the top of the Man of the Match League. Ian Gray has moved to second after coming second placed in the vote while Andy Booth has moved to third after finishing third placed.Fowler wins Orient Man of the Match

Fowler, who is currently on-loan from Coventry City, showed his usual determined display against the O's, creating many chances and defending very well. He produced a display which must leave Jackson considering signing him on a permanent basis, if it is possible financially.

Ian Gray, the Man of the Match runner-up, had another great performance in goal for Town. Just a while ago, fans on the Terrier-Bytes Forums were wanting Jackson to drop him and give Senior a chance, but the fans' view on him must surely have changed after two good performances in a row.

Andy Booth won everything in the air for Town on Saturday, as well as scoring a goal. He looked a lot like the Boothy of old. More displays like that and he'll have no problems keeping Newby out of the Huddersfield Town starting lineup, that's for sure.

Remember to vote for your Man of the Match versus Kidderminster shortly after the game has finished. You can find a link to the voting console on the Terrier-Bytes homepage, Man of the Match League page and the Terrier-Bytes Forums.
