Jacko Looks For Beckett Loan Extension

Huddersfield Town story posted by Neil Armstead on 08/02/2005
This weekend Luke Beckett will play the last game of his one month loan spell for Town against MK Dons. However, it is reported that the Terriers are hoping for a months extension to the loan deal, which will certainly please the Town faithful, most of which have been very impressed with Beckett over the past few weeks, who has netted 5 goals in 4 matches.Jacko Looks For Beckett Loan Extension

Jackson hopes to sort out a deal with Blades manager Warnock, who has the option throughout the loan deal of a 24 hour recall of Beckett should United need him to play.

It would seem Warnock is unsure about whether to let the striker extend his loan deal. He is in no doubt that playing first team football for Town and scoring goals has improved his fitness and confidence, but there are apparently 3 other clubs making enquiries about Beckett's availability.

Hopefully, Town fans will know whether Luke will be staying for another month by the end of this week. I definitely hope we can manage to keep him for atleast another month
