Fans want Booth and Beckett Partnership
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 13/02/2005
In the latest Terrier-Bytes poll we asked who you thought should play up front in a 4-4-2 formation system, and over half of users voted in favour of a Booth and Beckett strike partnership.
Town fans have been delighted with the two experienced strikers. To be honest, it's not surprising with the way these two have linked up over the past five games. Unfortunately though, we may never see them link up for Town again as Beckett has returned to Sheffield United and Booth picked up a groin injury in yesterday's 2-1 defeat to MK Dons. Hopefully Neil Warnock, the Blades' manager, will allow Beckett to return to Town for at least another month.
With Abbott suspended, Booth is nearly certain to be out for a while and Beckett's return to Sheffield United, it looks like we could be seeing a McAliskey-Mendes partnership for this Saturday's match against Blackpool. The Seasiders will be shaking in their boots, I'm sure!
Who should play up front in a 4-4-2 system?
Booth & Beckett - 52%
Beckett & Abbott - 27%
Abbott & Booth - 9%
Other partnership - 12%
The new poll asks where you sit at the Galpharm Stadium.
