Huddersfield Town v Bournemouth

Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 11/08/2001
Well here we go, the start of the new season at last, and the first game will be no walk over by any means!Huddersfield Town v Bournemouth

Town are missing a number of players including, Facey, Smith, Baldry, and Wijhnard all out through injury.

On the good side however we have new blood in Gareth Evans, and a bit of electric through Chris Hay who has recently been on top form during the pre-season friendlies.

The last time we played against Bournemouth was in a FA Cup game in January 1998. Town ended up victorious with a goal from Marcus Stewart settling it.

Hopefully the crowd on saturday will raise the roof and help Town to a victory, but remember that the second division is no walk in the park. Look what happened to Manchester City a few years back!

Garfield's Prediction - I'll go for a 2-0 win for Town, although i'm probably wrong :(

Probable lineups:
Town: Margetson, Jenkins, Evans, Lucketti, Beech, Gray, Irons, Holland, Armstrong, Booth, Hay
