Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 14/03/2005
In the latest poll on this site, Town fans have voted for Nathan Clarke to be Town's full-time team captain, replacing the current captain Jonathan Worthington.
The young defender has impressed yet again this season with a number of fine performances and has even managed to get in to 442 magazine's Top 50 Players Outside the Premiership chart, released this month, coming 40th overall.
Fans had the chance to see Clarke as captain for the first time in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield as Worthington was serving the 1st of his two match ban. He managed to keep a cool head while his brother Tom Clarke and Efe Sodje got sent off during the game.
In the poll Nathan Clarke received 38% of the votes, Jon Worthington 32%, Chris Brandon 14%, Andy Booth 13% and 4% voted for someone different to those mentioned to be captain.
The new poll asks who you think should be guaranteed a first team place on a regular basis.
