Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday
Huddersfield Town story posted by Peter MacGibbon on 28/03/2005
We had an unexpected win on Friday night and then The Owls got a fright on Saturday when they had to come from 0-2 down to snatch a draw against Torquay, at Hillsborough.
They have only lost one game in the last eighteen and, unlike us, tend to be strong in the second half of matches. When we played them at Hillsborough, very early in the season, we were unlucky not to take a point from the game. We had our chances but lost 1-0
We will be missing Nathan Clarke on Tuesday night, serving his one match double-yellow suspension. His brother, Tom, took a knock in the game but otherwise we came through unscathed. If Tom can?t play then Steve Yates may be recalled, with Dave Mirfin moving across and Danny Adams making his debut.
For Wednesday loan signing Paul Gallacher will almost certainly stay between the sticks and loan striker , Graham Barrett, should also start. Graeme Lee is probably still out of action.
The Owls will be looking to consolidate their play-off place after the blip on Saturday. They will also be keen to do the double over us. Our tails are up, however, and we will be keen to make it four home wins on the bounce. Incredible, but true, we haven?t lost at home this year! Six points from the Easter weekend would really boost our confidence and encourage us to climb up the table.
