Wigan Athletic v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 18/09/2001
Following the disaster against Blackpool Lou Macari needs to get the teams morale up high again.
Although Wigan are 22nd position at present that doesn't mean it will be a walkover by no means. Town will have to battle their way to victory with Wijhnard, Dyson, Facey, and Smith all out injured.
Andy Booth should be able to shrug off his current groin injury and add a bit more fire power to the Town side. At the moment i don't know if Lou will stick to the team that fielded against Blackpool on Saturday or scrap it completely. The chances are he'll stick it though.
Wigan are currently 22nd in the league winning only one out of a possible five.
Over the summer Wigan brought in a few fresh faces including Tony Dinning for ?750,000 from Wolves, Peter Kennedy from Watford for ?300,000, De Vos from Dundee, Nolan from Bradford, Bukram from Walsall and Kerr from Celtic.
Garfield's Prediction
I'll go for 2-1 win with Boothy (if fit) being the MoM.
Probable lineups:
Town: Margetson, Jenkins, Evans, Gray, Clarke, Holland, Schofield, Beech, Baldry, Thorrington, Hay
