Wrexham v Town

Huddersfield Town story posted by Peter MacGibbon on 06/05/2005
So we come to the last game of the season, for us. For Wrexham it may be their last game at the Racecourse Ground or even their last game ever. We haven?t made it to the play-offs but they are in Administration and relegated. At least we have an 85 year old record to equal, unbeaten in our last nine matches! It is surprising that this record pre-dates our three Championship winning seasons of the mid-twenties.Wrexham v Town

As far as I am aware, and can discover, Tony Carss is our only absentee for this last game. Danny Adams should be buoyed up now that he has been offered a new contract. The Young Guns, of curse, are ever ready to perform!

Wrexham have been playing well, better than their league position suggests, remember the ten point deduction. They so very nearly held out against the Bees on Tuesday. We will have to work hard to equal that record! It is possible to back both Town and Wrexham at 6/4, 12/5 the draw ? the bookies see it as a very close match.

Remember to keep visiting the Coca-Cola site even though the season has finished. The draw for the ?250K player isn?t until the end of May. It would be nice to win it but could present us with problems with our wages bill!
