Bradford City v Huddersfield Town
So we come to the big one on Monday night! Bradford did the double over us last season although we had the better season over all.

Over the years our records are evenly matched. We have won 12 games, drawn 13 and lost 13. Looking at the away record only the figures are 5-7-7. This season we have scored 11 points in our last six matches and the Bantams 10. On paper we are very evenly matched and the bookies seem unable to split us.

Dave Mirfin should be back, he came through the reserve match unscathed. Tosh will be back in training soon but Pav and Danny Schofield will probably be missing from the squad. Pav has been on antibiotics all week for a virus and although Danny?s groin scan was clear he has been on light work this week.Having the Clarke brothers and Mirfin available will enable Jacko to put fresh legs on in the second half to try and prevent us dropping away.

With Dean Windass suspended for the game either Andy Cooke or Danny Cadamarteri will partner Steve Claridge up front. Either way it will be an untried partnership and the Bantam?s record without Windass in the side is not good. Dean Windass plans to influence the game from the dugout. We must remember, all the same, that Claridge has scored the last three times he has played against us. ?Keeper, Ricketts, is still out of action so Russell Howarth will continue betwen the sticks.

Yeovil have done us a favour today, Saturday, beating Swansea. This means that when if we win on Monday night we will jump into second place at the worst. Steve Tilson, at Southend, won the MOTM for September so we must hope that jinxes them against Notts Forest on Sunday. If they lose as well then we can go top. Brentford are playing Oldham, at Boundary Park, on Sunday. This means that on Monday, before we meet the Bantams, we will know exactly where we stand.
