Boston United v Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Peter MacGibbon on 18/10/2005
On the face of it playing a team 34 places below us in the league shouldn?t present too formidable obstacle. Additionally our record against Boston is reasonable, two seasons ago we drew with them away and won 2-0 at home.
The league, however, is definitely our top priority and Jacko will be resting several key players. Hudson and Brandon both picked up knocks on Saturday and will probably be rested. Mirfin may join them on the sidelines since the Walsall game was his first back after a long layoff. I suspect that the likes of Michael Collins, Young, Hardy and Biddle may well feature in the squad as well as Tom Clarke and McCombe. Jackson will be hoping to get the mix right and have a weakened team which is still good enough to win.
The Pilgrim?s recent form is good, they also won 3-1 on Saturday, and they will be keen to progress in the LDV. They will be fielding their strongest possible team.
A difficult match to call since no one will be too upset if we lose.
