Huddersfield Town v Gravesend & Northfleet

Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 17/11/2001
On the eve of the 1st round FA Cup tie with Gravesend and Northfleet Lou Macari seems to be looking at two major set backs. He is still desperately trying to clear Leon Knight for the game but as he is not on a seasons loan it is looking unlikely, and it also seems that speedy winger John Thorrington will miss out, as he still hasn?t shaken off his niggling hamstring injury. But despite this, Macari was upbeat that Andy Booth would be ready to make a team appearance again, but just incase, he has placed every fit senior player on standby.Huddersfield Town v Gravesend & Northfleet

Although Andy Ford?s team are several leagues below Huddersfield, playing in the Ryman League, Macari has stressed they are not to be taken lightly. They are currently battling away in the Ryman League and are more than expected to raise a few eyebrows at the McAlpine tomorrow afternoon. Gravesend who are sitting comfortable in second place of their league are hoping to gain the title of ?cup giants? by beating this Second Division outfit, but if this is to happen then rest assured it will be a great embarrassment to Lou Macari?s team.

Garfield's Prediction
I'll go for a 2-1 win with Andy Booth being the MoM.
