After an encouraging first win of the season against Rotherham United in midweek, Town are hoping to stick to winning ways in what should prove a tough clash with the fancied Bristol City.
After an awful start to last season's campaign, leading to manager Brian Tinnion leaving the club, the Robins installed former Yeovil manager Gary Johnson to add stability to the club and steer them clear from relegation.
Johnson was successful, and Bristol City start this season as one of the bookies' favourites for promotion.
Peter Jackson looks set to start with the same line-up that took to the field against Rotherham, with Gary Taylor Fletcher the only doubt, with Danny Schofield on standby for a starting place should Fletch prove unfit. Abbott and Beckett will resume their partnership up front, with folk hero Andy Booth unlikely to even make the bench due to a troublesome calf injury. Mirfin will keep his place in central defence at the expense of Martin McIntosh.
Peter Jackson is expecting a tough clash with tomorrow's opponents. Speaking to the Official site, he says:
'We had them watched against Bradford in midweek, and we know they are a big, strong side and I am expecting a physical battle.
Defending, particularly at set-pieces, will be vital tomorrow because they have some good headers of the ball'.
