Huddersfield Town v Northampton Town
Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 15/12/2006
Saturday's game at the Galpharm Stadium sees the Terriers in 17th place take on the Cobblers in 18th place in what's sure to be a vital match.
The main news heading in to the game against Northampton Town is that Danny Schofield is in line for a return to the starting side after sitting out the last three matches on the bench. He will most likely be drafted in to replace the suspended Chris Brandon.
Jackson said: "It's fair to say Danny hasn't been firing on full throttle of late.
"But we all know what a talented player he is, and if selected, he will have a great chance to claim a regular slot by putting on a show."
On the injury front, Nathan Clarke, Tom Clarke and Pawel Abbott are all still out. Jon Worthington is also a massive doubt for the game - he's still recovering from the groin niggle he picked up against Leyton Orient last week. Martin McIntosh is suspended.
Northampton have only lost one game away from home this season, so they will no doubt make life difficult for the Town players. However, their home record is poor, which shows that they have many weaknesses that Town can exploit.
My prediction for this game is a 2-1 win to Town with Danny Schofield banging them both in!
