The rumour mill is in full swing as the summer is nearly apon us and Town have been linked with Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kenny Lunt.Terriers eye Wednesday Midfielder

It is reported that Sheffield Wednesday are looking to make a move for Oldham Athletic's Ritchie Wellens, who is out of contract at Boundary Park. Meaning that Lunt's chances at Wednesday would be limited, Lunt has not taken off at Wednesday only making 18 appearences this season, It was reported that former Owls manager Paul Sturrock didn't see Lunt in the part of his plans but with Sturrock being sacked and Brian Laws coming in, Lunt had been a useful squad player to his new manager.

Sheffield Wednesday beat competition from several other Championship clubs in May last year signed him on a free transfer from Crewe, where Lunt has started his career.

Also Town manager Andy Ritchie made a move for Jason Scotland, who has just recently signed for Swansea City.
Ritchie wants to bring in a striker with pace and inquired about the former St. Johnstone striker, and made a firm offer with Scotland's agent ignoring the Town's offer paving the way for Scotland to sign for Swansea.
