Lucketti Moving On?

Sources close to the club revealed on Tuesday night that a substantial offer had been made for fans favourite Chris Lucketti by first division outfit West Bromich Albion. The Town skipper has refused to elaborate on speculation surrounding his future but has admitted that life in Nationwide Division Two will be tough.
Chris was a ?750,000 summer buy from Bury two seasons ago, where he had enjoyed seven seasons of consistent performances. A player who deserved the chance to shine on a bigger stage, Lucketti made his mark at Halifax at the start of the 90s.
The move, which will most defiantly anger fans, has yet to be confirmed by either club, but stay tuned to this site for details as we get them.
