Phil Jevons has completed a permanent switch to Huddersfield Town after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Bristol City.Jevons move made permanent

Jevons, who was the Bristol City's top scorer last season with 17 goals in all competitions, has been on loan at the Galpharm Stadium but has now signed a deal with the club until the summer of 2010.

"The signing of Phil is fantastic for the club," Andy Ritchie told the official Town website. "We have been chasing him for a long time but we have managed to secure the signature of a proven goalscorer.

"I still think he is one or two games away from being match-fit, but he offers so much to the team other than just goals in terms of link up play and I am delighted to have him here.

"He has made a positive impact in his short time with us so far and I am certain that will continue."

Jevons joined Town on the 24th November and has scored four goals in seven starts for the Terriers.
