Bishop has netted 57 goals in 117 starts for Bury and is out on contract at the end of the season, Knill to the Manchester Evening News:

I've had a couple of people ring me and say 'What's the situation with him?'

"I don't think there's many teams, definitely in our league, that could match the offer we've made him.

"If someone else is going to come and match that deal, I think it'll have to be a good offer for him."

Elsewhere Andy Booth could be in the reserve team for their game against Hartlepool tomorrow. The 35-year old has returned to full training after recovering from back surgery.
Clark is also wanting to have a look at Michael Flynn, who returned from a loan spell at Darlington and two youngsters Joe Skarz and Daniel Broadbent who has both been out injured.

Gary Roberts is a candidate for League One player of the month. Ever-present Roberts will go up against Matty Fryatt of Leicester, Peterborough's Aaron McLean and Tranmere defender Anthony Kay.
The winner will be announced on Sky Sports' Big League Weekend 2 on 12th of January.
