Town Still in For Carlisle Striker
Huddersfield Town story posted by Sean Makin on 12/01/2009
Word on the grapevine is that Town are still persuing Carlisle United striker Danny Graham.
The ex-Middlesbrough trainee is out of contract with the Cumbrian side at the end of the season and with Graham having yet not putting pen to paper for the fellow League One side they could cash in on the 14 goal hitman.
Town were rumoured to have a £250,000 turned down last week for Graham but Terriers' boss Lee Clark has upped the bid to around £350,000 for the 24-year old.
A host of Championship clubs are also looking at the Carlisle forward and is rumoured that a few of them have approached Carlisle with a bid for Danny Graham.
Lee Clark has hinted he could be bringing in new players to the squad with I think Danny Graham would be an ideal replacement for Andy Booth in the long-term.
