Boss Lee Clark is set to sign Coventry City striker Robbie Simpson according to BBC Radio Leeds.
Terrier-bytes reported yesterday that Coventry were holding on to Simpson and using him as bait to sign Norwich City midfielder Sammy Clingan.
It seems now that the Sky Blues have decided to cash in on the 24-year old, it is reported that Town are offering around £300,000 for the former Cambridge United player.
Coventry signed the striker in 2007 from Cambridge for £130,000, he scored on his debut against Notts County but has only scored 7 goals in 70 appearances for the Rioch Arena side.
Simpson can play as a striker or on either flank. The deal is understood to be completed in a few days.
