The Terriers travel to Victoria Park for their second of three away games in space of a week having not lost in their last 3 away games picking up 7 points from a possible 9 away from home.Preview - Hartlepool United Vs. Huddersfield Town
After a solid display against Carlisle United on Tuesday night, in which Town ran out 2-1 winners in a impressive display, confidence is high in the Town camp that they can take three points back to West Yorkshire at the expense of Hartlepool. The home side have not played since the 2-2 draw with Leeds United a fortnight ago.

Form Guide
Hartlepool have failed to win in their last 6 recent games, failing to win in their last 3 at home, drawing 2, losing 4, scoring only 5 goals and conceded an alarming 14 goals.
At Victoria Park, Hartlepool have won 3 and drawn 2, scoring 9 but conceding 10 goals. Managed by former Sheffield Wednesday manager Chris Turner, Hartlepool find themselves in 17th position in Coca Cola League One.

The Terriers have not lost in their last 8 games, not lost away from home in their last 3, winning 2 and drawing 4 in their last 6 league games.

At Victoria Park, out of 13 meetings between the two sides, Hartlepool have won 6, Town have won 4 and 3 draws.
The last meeting at Victoria Park was in October 2008 when Stan Ternent was the manager of Town and the Terriers lost 5-3 to the Monkey Hangers.

Team News

Hartlepool - Hartlepool have a few players coming back from injury. Strikers James Brown and Colin Larkin playing for the reserves in midweek and both could be included in the starting 18.

Town - Lee Clark has no injury worries, and it looks like Clark will stick with the starting XI that beat Carlisle 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Winger Taser Hassan is eligible to play after signing a contract with Town until the end of the season and could find himself on the bench.
Robbie Simpson will be pushing for a first-team place after scoring a hat-trick for the reserves in 6-0 win over Rotherham United reserves in midweek. Robbie Williams and James Berrett also impressed and will be looking to get a place on the bench.

Sean's Prediction

I quite fancy Town getting something from Victoria Park with Hartlepool finding goals hard to come by and conceding goals, specially 14 in their last 6. Town have hopefully turned the corner away from home so I'm going for a 2-1 win to the Terriers.
