Town Set To Sign Falkirk Star

As mentioned on Terrier-Bytes yesterday Falkirk midfielder has been linked with a move to Huddersfield Town. Today Skysports has stated that the 21-year old midfielder is expected to have a medical with the Terriers.
The Falkirk star has been linked with a number of Scottish Premier League clubs as well as Southampton but Town are set to be Arfield's choice. The fee that has been thrown around is around £400,000. Town boss Lee Clark has not denied the interest in the 21-year old.
Elsewhere is has been announced that Chris Lucketti has been released by the club. The 38 year old's contract was due to expire on the 1st of July but his contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
Lucketti has two spells with Town from 1999-2001 and 2008-2010. The former Sheffield United and Preston defender has not kicked a ball since April 2009 due to injury but did make 16 appearances last season.
