Morecambe sign Spencer on loan

Huddersfield Town's 18-year-old striker, James Spencer, has today joined League Two Morecambe on a six month loan where he will team up with ex Terriers striker Phil Jevons.
Lee Clark spoke of the move on the official Huddersfield Town website. He said: "I think this is a good move for Jimmy in his development; he had a good spell at Northwich last year and now he has the chance to go up a few levels and play League football.
"It also gives us the chance to watch him and see how he is developing. I hope he comes back in January and is pushing for a place in our matchday squad."
In other news, a very youthful Town team tonight lost to Evo-Stik League side Frickley Athletic 1-0.
