Huddersfield Town have signed Crystal Palace striker Alan Lee on a undisclosed fee.
The 32-year old former Republic of Ireland international has signed a two-year deal with Town.
It has been rumoured, even coming from Palace manager George Burley, that the fee was around £500,000 and a three-year deal was on the table but Town have since rubbished these claims.
Town boss Lee Clark told htafc.com "We have been looking for a different type of striker to complement the others we already have at the club."
Lee started out as trainee at Aston Villa, despite not making the first team at Villa Park the Irish striker has gone on to play for Torquay, Port Vale, Burnley, Rotherham, Cardiff and Ipswich.
