Terriers Visit Port Vale in Carling Cup

Huddersfield Town will travel to League Two Port Vale for the first round of the Carling Cup. The tie will take place at Vale Park during the week commencing the 8th August 2011.
The last time the two sides met at Vale Park was in the FA Cup during the 2009/10 season with the Terriers winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from defender Nathan Clarke.
The draw has produced some tasty ties with Nottingham Forest v Notts County and a Yorkshire derby in Leeds v Bradford.
