Accoring to BBC Radio Leeds Southampton midfielder Oscar Gobern is set to be Huddersfield Town's second signing of the summer.Terriers Sign Oscar Gobern

The 20 year-old central midfielder who can also play on the flanks has turned down a new contract offer from the Saints in a favour for a move to the Galpharm Stadium. Seeing as Gobern is under the age of 24 if a fee is not agreed then it will go to a tribunal.

Born in Birmingham, the midfielder came through the academy at Southampton and made his debut coming on as a sub against Preston in November 2008. Gobern went on to make 21 appearance for the Saints scoring one goal, which was against Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup back in November 2010.

The midfielder also had a brief loan spell at MK Dons in 2009 and made two appearances for the Dons. He also has played for the England U19s.
