Clubs Weigh Up Move For Pilkington

Anthony Pilkington's transfer request has put clubs on high alert with Stoke City, Norwich City, Southampton and Leicester City all linked with the winger.
The former Stockport man told the club on Thursday he wanted to leave to fill his ambition to play at the highest level with Premier League new boys Norwich City looking the most likely destination. It is rumoured that the Norfolk side have tabled a £1.8 million bid.
Stoke City are reported to be keeping an eye on the situation so too Southampton but rumours are Leicester City are also going to make a bid. The Foxes have already bought Lee Peltier from Town and look to raid the club again for Pilkington.
