Rochdale v Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town story posted by Garfield (Admin) on 12/08/2011
After Huddersfield Town's midweek Carling Cup triumph against Port Vale, manager Lee Clark will be optimistic about his side's chances going into tomorrow's League One clash against Rochdale.Rochdale v Huddersfield Town

Clark will have a selection dilemma on his hands after Lee Novak's two goals on Tuesday night helped the Terriers to victory and with star-striker Jordan Rhodes returning from international duty. Striker Alan Lee is due some league action too.

Midfielder Anton Robinson will be unavailable for the game after sustaining a hamstring injury in Town's 1-1 draw with Bury last Saturday afternoon. Damien Johnson's recovery is going well but will also be unavailable for the match.

Town's goalkeeper, Alex Smithies, is still recovering from his recent kee surgery which means the experienced Ian Bennett will continue in goal.

Rochdale look set to name the same starting line-up as the one that beat Chesterfield 3-2 in the League Cup in midweek.

Neal Trotman, David Lucas and on-loan Liverpool defender Stephen Darby should all retain their places.

Garfield's Prediction: Rochdale 1-3 Huddersfield Town
