Colchester United are the visitors to the Galpharm Stadium this Saturday (3pm kick-off) as Huddersfield Town will be looking to notch their first win of the season in front of their own fans.Match Preview: Town vs Colchester United

Town have drawn all of their opening three league games most recently a 0-0 draw with Hartlepool United whilst Colchester impressively beat Preston North End 4-2 at Deepdale but have since drawn away at Wycombe and most recently lost to Charlton Athletic at home on Tuesday night.

Town News

Midfielders Anton Robinson and Damien Johnson are near to match fitness and could be involved against Colchester. Goalkeeper Alex Smithies is recovering from surgery but apart from Smithies Town have a fully fit squad.

Colchester United

Winger Ashley Vincent is the only player missing from the Colchester squad as he is out after suffering a lateral ligament sprain in his knee and a calf muscle strain.

Goalkeeper Ben Williams and midfielder Andy Bond could be fit to face The Terriers after missing the first three games of the season.

Previous Meetings

The last encounter between the two sides at the Galpharm was in January this year which ended in a 0-0 draw.

It is interesting to note that Colchester have never won a game in Huddersfield either at the Galpharm or Leeds Road in all competitions.
