Huddersfield Town will write themselves in the records books if they manage to avoid defeat at the Galpharm Stadium to Notts County this afternoon (3pm). Teams News
Town
Top scorer Jordan Rhodes will available for selection after missing last week's FA Cup defeat to Swindon Town due to being called up for the Scotland national team. The striker came on as a sub against Cyprus and then played for the Scotland U21s against Holland U21s on Monday night and scored after just 59 seconds.
Jack Hunt is back from suspension and Liam Cooper is available for selection after being ineligible to play in the FA Cup due to the conditions of his loan from Hull City.
Oscar Gobern could possibly appear on the bench but it is looking doubtful and Alex Smithies is the club's only long term injury.
County
Midfielder Gavin Mahon is back from injury and could go in straight into the starting XI. Striker Karl Hawley will be pushing for a start after scoring twice in a 4-1 win over Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
Defenders Jude Sterling and Sam Sodje are available so too are midfielders Hamza Bencherif, Ishmel Demontagnac and Charlie Allen.
Striker Lee Hughes is doubtful with a hamstring injury and Ricky Ravenhill has joined Bradford City on loan.
