Huddersfield Town story posted by Sean Makin on 25/06/2013
Huddersfield Town this evening have confirmed they have signed Northern Ireland international Martin Paterson on a two-year deal.
The 26-year old striker joins Town on a free transfer from Championship rivals Burnley. Paterson had spend five years at Turf Moor but rumours are he rejected a new contract with The Clarets as manager Sean Dyche could not guarantee he would be a first choice striker.
Paterson was available on a free with his contract expiring this month and it is reported Town beat a host of Championship clubs for the striker's signature.
