Hogg Makes Terriers Move

Huddersfield Town have today announced the signing of Watford midfielder Jonathan Hogg for an undisclosed fee.Hogg Makes Terriers Move

The 24-year old has signed a three-year deal with Town with the club having an option of taking an extra year. Hogg, described as a box-to-box midfielder, made 41 appearances last season for The Hornets as they reached the play-off final losing to Crystal Palace.

Born in Middlesbrough the midfielder had wanted to move north and The Terriers made their move. Hogg started his career with Boro before moving to Aston Villa still at youth team level. He made 6 appearances for Villa in two years as well as featuring for Darlington and Portsmouth in respective loan spells during his time with Villa. Jonathan left Villa Park for Watford in the summer of 2011 for £400,000 making 78 appearances for The Hornets.
