Huddersfield Town have signed Spanish striker Cristian Lopez on a one-year deal after a successful trial with the club.Town Sign Spanish Striker Lopez

Lopez, 24, signs on a free transfer after being released from Segunda Division B side Atletico Baleares this summer.

Town offered the Spaniard a year deal with an option of a further year after impressing in friendlies against Real Betis and Oldham Athletic scoring a goal in the latter. He has been given the number 19 shirt.

Lopez started his career at Alicante in 2008 before moving on to Real Madrid Castilla in the summer of 2009 where he scored 10 goals in his first season. He moved on to Valencia B in 2011 where he scored 11 goals before moving on Atletico Baleares last season where Lopez scored 9 goals in 35 games.
