Huddersfield Town striker James Vaughan hit a hat-trick as Town came back from a goal behind to beat Doncaster Rovers 3-1 in a pre-season friendly in Portugal.
The striker missed Town's final eight games of last season due a knee injury which required surgery.
The former Everton and Norwich City man had been in the USA for rehabilitation following the surgery.
The friendly against Doncaster, which was played behind-closed doors, was played in three 30-minute periods.
Ritchie Wellens put Rovers in front with a first-half volley.
But Vaughan took centre stage with a second-half hat-trick to give The Terriers the win.
