Coady joins as Clayton sets to exit

Liverpool midfielder Conor Coady has joined Huddersfield Town for £375,000 reports the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who can also play as a defender, has signed a three-year deal with Town having an option of a fourth.
Coady impressed whilst on loan at Sheffield United last season where he made 50 appearances, including the FA Cup semi-final against Hull City at Wembley.
A product of the Liverpool academy, he made his professional footballing debut in a Europa League tie against Anzhi Makhachkala in November 2012 and made another appearance for the Reds in the Premier League, coming off the bench against Fulham in May 2013.
Whilst Coady joins Town, midfielder Adam Clayton is set to leave and join Middlesbrough for an initial £1.5 million deal that could rise to £2 million with add-ons and bonuses.
The Gazette Live understands the 25-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with Boro and completed a medical at the club's training ground this morning.
But the Northern Echo believes the completion of the deal has been delayed as it emerged that Jacob Butterfield formed part of the deal.
Middlesbrough are willing to let Butterfield leave but the player is understood not to be keen on a move to Huddersfield.
But it seems now Town have landed Coady, Clayton's move to Boro will now be completed.
Last season's Player of the Year has made 94 appearances for The Terriers, scoring 12 goals since his £350,000 move from Leeds United in 2012.
The Examiner also understands that Town are weighing up offering a contract to trialist Sean St Ledger.
The 29-year-old played the second half in last night's friendly against Newcastle United, which ended 2-2.
The Republic of Ireland international was released by Leicester City at the end of last season.
